How it works
How Our Custom Homes Work
Start from one of our 72 floor plans and modify it, or design from a blank sheet with our architect. Either way you get a documented, five-stage build managed in Buildertrend, so you always know where things stand. Most Sharp homes take about seven to nine months to build and eight to twelve months from design to move-in.
Planning & Approvals
Finalize plan, selections, permits, and approvals.
Foundation & Frame
Site work, foundation, framing, roof, weather-tight shell.
Drywall
Mechanicals, insulation, and drywall.
Finishes

For estate and premium builds, Sharp specifies at a level the finished home can be judged on, and every spec is documented in your proposal before you sign. On our custom builds, standards have included:
3,500 psi concrete throughout the foundation and flatwork
7/8-inch Advantek subfloor in place of standard 3/4-inch OSB
Floor trusses at 19.2 inches on center in place of 24 inches on center
Tyvek weatherization wrap across the full exterior
Andersen windows
92%+ efficiency gas furnaces and 15.2 SEER air conditioning
R-44 blown cellulose ceiling insulation and R-14 fiberglass wall insulation
Trustile interior doors on the estate tier
Standards scale with the build, and Craig walks the full specification with you, so you are comparing real numbers rather than vague promises. Estate-tier plans include Grand Mere Estate, Summerset Estate, Gunnison Estate, and St. George Estate, and we build in premium communities such as Willow Springs Estates and Lakewood Hills Estates.
