Do builders use lower quality materials on new homes?
Some builders do, but at Sharp Homes we like to use proven products throughout the build for a high quality home that will last for decades.

What are standard finishes for a Sharp home?
Sharp Homes uses many upgraded products that much of our competition does not use. Our base price includes items such as but not limited to 3,500 psi concrete, Advantech subflooring, narrow spacing on many of our floor trusses, Tyvek house wrap, Anderson windows, upgraded insulation, and higher allowances on appliances, lights, etc.
Am I limited to working with the builder’s plans?
No. We will work with you on designing a plan that best fits your needs. Our in-house architect can work with a plan that you already have or of course we are happy to work with plans that are in our library.
What are the advantages of building a new home versus existing?
Building new with Sharp Homes will be much more energy efficient and your home will hold its value better. New homes also have very little maintenance cost for the first several years.
