Beware The Ides of March

Hard to believe it is already the middle of March! This year is flying by and we are entering in our busy season of home building. While the “Winter” weather has sure been great this year – little snow and only a few really cold days – it makes us wonder what this Spring will be like. Seems like the weather in Kansas is consistently inconsistent, but hopefully that is all we will need to beware of this month.
March is the official start of Spring but already the trees are budding out and the flowers are blooming. We have had a few changes here at Sharp Homes as well. This past week our Selection Specialist/Receptionist Becky moved on to a position with Star Lumber. It was a great opportunity for her, but she will be greatly missed! After a couple weeks of searching for a replacement and conducting several interviews, we are happy to announce the hire of Kayla Moore as our new Receptionist. Kayla will start training with us later this week and will be a huge asset to our team. If you stop by the office be sure to tell her hello.
We are also excited to start a partnership with Shane Organ Photography (shaneorgan.com) to start shooting our new homes. He is a great photographer with an excellent background that will be up and coming in the Wichita area. You’ll start seeing his photos on our website and social media feeds by the end of the month.
One final note, this past week we were recognized by the Wichita Business Journal annual Real Estate Awards as one of the Top Builders in the Wichita area. We take great pride in this recognition of our goals to create quality homes, using handpicked craftsman, while providing world class customer service.
